To everyone who thinks that Travel is all about exploring and finding yourself…well, it is also about romance, meeting and being with that someone special, and little love stories! Heard about those dreamy kind of 5-second love stories on the Subway? Or, bumping into someone on the road, only to never travel apart since? Or drooling over the guy/girl sitting next to you on the airplane? Travel, is filled with love, in all sort of ways, and this series – #TravelLoveStory by StreetTrotter will feature how people experienced ‘love’ on their trips…

My father always read to me when I was a kid. Naturally, I grew up believing deeply in dreamy ‘Once Upon a time’ and ‘Panchtantra’ tales, so much so, that even when I close my eyes, the illustrations of RK Laxman and Malgudi days become a real life scene for me. But living in Delhi for almost 26 years of my life never gave me the chance to come face to face with my storybook side of life, until I visited Chhattisgarh, India, a few days ago.

Think Rajasthan, think grand! Udaipur, also known as the ‘White City’, is one of the main reasons for the appeal that Rajasthan has. It is called the ‘Venice of the East’ and the ‘City of Lakes’, and for good reason. This four day trip gives you a chance to delve deeper into its opulence and enjoy the beautiful architectural marvels along with the picturesque lakes that fill the city.
