OLD SAN JUAN Photo Tour: From day to night in the colorful Puerto Rico town

If I had to pin down one Caribbean island that is the most underestimated for its tourism – it will be Puerto Rico. Last year we got a chance to spend a week in PR and we fell in love with the cultural vibe of the place instantly. Most of our trip was centered around the historic colonial section of the city of San Juan. Old San Juan is the oldest settlement of Puerto Rico, defined by its narrow, blue cobblestone streets, and flat roofed brick and stone buildings which date back to the 16th and 17th century—when Puerto Rico was a Spanish possession.

Its colorful buildings, and street art with a point of view makes this town alive and contemporary even today while retaining its history and colonial style of architecture. Today, Puerto Rico is a possession of USA. This is a photo diary of our visit to this pedestrian town – OLD SAN JUAN.
