5 #TravelLoveStory Videos, that will make you believe.

Love is a strange emotion. It comes when you least expect it and in waysĀ which are sometimes hard to imagine.Ā Even when the world is in despair, and we are nowhere close to a peaceful global reality, this week, I woke up to happy faces, eager to visit home, packing their bags and booking their tickets for a thankful long weekend. It is ‘Thanksgiving 2015’, and love is all around, no matter what.Ā

I cant stop to think of airports, trains and flights, which will be filled with excited faces, spreading love all around. Parents, friends, siblings, and lovers waiting to be hugged and longingly loved. Travel is indeed, full of love this week, and therefore this post is all about #TravelLoveStories from around the world. Each of these short love stories, made me smile today, and reassured me, that we have not really lost it all, and never will. Because love, comes at the strangest of times, in the strangest of ways and with the strangest of people…

There are a thousand love stories waiting to happen. Some just need a little direction to find there way.

Did you know – Lonely Planet, was born out of a love story?

“Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there – fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge – they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around.”

  1. Svet Dimitrov says:

Love is certainly one of the strongest, if not the strongest, feelings and it is no wonder how many things we can achieve thanks to it.

  2. I always think that airports are among the most emotional places on earth. Whether it’s the tears of a goodbye on the departures level, or the tears of joy in the arrivals hall, or the excitement and expectation of a new journey, airports are all about love, and sometimes loss, to me.

  3. Adventuring The Great Wide Somewhere says:

Awww, I never knew how Lonely Planet got started. What a honeymoon! And, I’d have to imagine, what a marriage! Never a dull moment. And I agree with you. Hate, despair, anger, etc. are all strong feelings, and they tend to get the most media coverage. But I think people are born to love. It’s just a matter of recognizing it all around us! šŸ™‚
